Business Savvy!!!

Hello Friend!

I subscribe to free newsletters from the Sterling Style academy via email. It lets me know programs they have and sometimes there are useful tips on how to present the right image if you're to come across as a professional at what you do. Decided to share it with you. It's also a great opportunity for those seeking a career in image consulting and so on. You might be out there looking for the next best thing, something interesting you haven't thought of and this might be for you. Click on the above image to learn more.

That aside, I also discovered that Bishop T. D Jakes has just started a blog. Isn't that kool? As a woman of God and a business minded person I love it when women are empowered as business people. We ought to be business savvy.I will never forget a preacher that came for Agape celebrations (Ife) to preach about 'Go ye into all the world' - Mark 16:15. He stated that we as Christians ought to preach the gospel not just by word of mouth alone but by our lifestyle i.e. in every area of our lives including our business world, amongst other areas. In order words showing how Jesus Christ has taught us how to live. Showing how excellent God is. Others will see your good deeds and praise God. I think you should take a look at this page on T. D Jakes' website talking about 'Doing business with excellence and ethics' Click on the image to read the article titled 'The meal can seal the deal'. You can also check out the authors website and classes she offers here
Remember this is our month of Divine Visitation and so let's ask God to visit us in our careers as well. Be sure to draw the line between being business savvy and vanity. May God help us all in Jesus mighty name.
